The FDCL archive...

... evolved in 1974 out of the solidarty and third world movement. Our archive makes a regular critical contribution to the documentation of social, economic and political developments in Latin America and its relations to the nations of "The North".

Our considerable newspaper-, journal- and book collection has grown into the biggest independent non-governmental archive about Latin America in the German-speaking world. It has a collection available which is unique in this form.

A wide and diverse collection arose from accompanying political processes. These materials have a special historical and contemporary historical value and are permanently updated.
That's why our archive has remained indispensable for a profound political education critically facing up to social and political subjects.

This collection should be used!

Research by internet:

You can research the collection easily in the corporated database of the nationwide 'Cooperation
of Third World Archives - Archiv³'.

In 1998, 11 archives, which emerged out of the solidarity and third world scene, formed a network in order to coordinate  themselves and work more efficiently.
